Mattress Warranty Information

Limited Warranty

This promise is backed by our commitment to continually improve our products and services through the application of a quality management system, as guide lined by the ISO (International Standards Organization) quality management principles.

Any fabric protector additive applied after manufacture nullifies this warranty.
  • Used bedding or bedding sold "as is"

  • Transportation or inspection costs.

  • Mattress or foundation ticking, stitching pulling loose after 4 months of purchase, or cloth handles.

  • American Mattress Company reserves the right to substitute materials or models of comparable quality, and does not guarantee that the fabric of the replacement piece will match.

  • Only the faulty item will be exchanged in the sleep set. Replacement of one piece does not automatically constitute the replacement of the other piece.

  • Bed height and sheet fit. (Deeper & plusher mattresses may require an extra deep fitted sheet.)

  • Mattress or foundation damages due to abuse (bent border wire; jumping on; walking on or bending the product).

  • When product identification labels have been removed.

  • Comfort or firmness preference, or suitability for any person's specific medical condition.

  • Mattress damage due to an inappropriate foundation being used. A mattress is designed for full performance when used in conjunction with its matching foundation as part of a full sleep set.

  • American Mattress Company reserves the right to refuse services when upon inspection, the product is found to be dirty, stained, burnt, soiled, infested with insects or in an unsanitary condition.

  • When product failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship and materials.

  • If product has been altered structurally or in any way by the consumer or other parties.

  • The decision to repair or replace will be at the sole discretion of Corsicana.

  • Damage caused by continual use of an electric blanket, as the high temperature will cause the fillings and fibers in the upholstery layers to compress or flatten.

  • A fabric protection agent applied after manufacture of the mattress.

  • When product identification labels have been removed this immediately invalidates the warranty.

Normal body impressions of ±4cm (2.0"), or upholstery compaction, are normal. Comfort layers settle and conform to your personal sleeping position - this is not a fault and should be compared to leather shoes stretching in some places.

Proper care and maintenance of your mattress will result in many years of trouble-free use.

Body impressions, up to ±4cm (2.0") are a perfectly normal occurrence in your American Mattress Company mattress and should not be confused with sagging. The layers of upholstery are designed to compress with use. However, the area where body weight is concentrated will compress first, while the areas not lain on will remain uncompressed. These are more noticeable in the morning, as they have been in use during the night, indicating settling and conforming of the layers to your individual body contours. Body impression is not a structural defect and should not be confused with sagging.

To greatly extend the life of your mattress, rotate head to foot approximately once monthly to even wear patterns and greatly reduce body impressions. It typically takes about 30 days for new mattress upholstery to settle. All new mattress purchasers should also note that human tissues surrounding the spinal column typically take time to adjust to a new mattress. Proper spinal alignment can actually be uncomfortable during this transition period, and patience should be exercised when sleeping on a new mattress set for the initial readjustment period.
